Patrick Hess is a partner at the firm concentrating his litigation practice on cases involving property damage, insurance coverage and appellate work.  He has specialized in construction law, product liability issues and warehouse legal liability matters.

Since joining the firm in 2001, Mr. Hess has recovered more than 30 million dollars for his clients in property subrogation cases.  He has extensive trial experience in jurisdictions throughout the country, including several trials lasting longer than four weeks.  He has also argued appeals before numerous state and federal courts.  In 2007, Mr. Hess and partner Jeffrey Zehe obtained a $63,335,000 judgment in favor of their client in the Wisconsin case of Quad/Graphics, Inc., et. al v. HK Systems, Inc., et. al.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Hess worked at Winston & Strawn, L.P., and Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company.

Mr. Hess lives in Oak Park, Illinois, with his wife Stacey and their three children.  He is an active volunteer in professional, church and youth sports activities, serving on the Chicago Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Committee, serving on the school board for Ascension Catholic School and coaching youth soccer and baseball.
